1975 - The company was incorporated on 29th October 1975, involved mainly in trading of 

            automotive refinish products.

1980s - In response to the increasing demand on the market, the Company's first factory was set-up in 

             Subang and started to produce a wide range of Polyester Putty and relevant products.

           - In view of the Company expansion plan, the Company increase its production capacity with a 

             second plant situated in Kepong.

1990 - In the wake of further cost effectiveness and better logistics, the Company merged distanced 

            plants with HQ office, shifted into a centralize facility located in Batu Caves. Today, there are 

            more than 80 employees at work within the facility. 

1991 - In middle 1991, the group of companies was listed on the BURSA SAHAM MALAYSIA under the 

            holding company: Mercury Industries Berhad. 

         - Thru the years, the Company's foreign market stretches throughout ASEAN and to China, with 

            India, Thailand, Australia, and some Middle East countries as new additions in recent years.

         - The Company strongly emphasizes on new product development and enhancement, on a mission 

            to becoming a trend-setting pioneer developing better quality products in the 

            technology-sensitive automotive refinish industry. 

2000 - High-end color tinting system: The CARMIX TINTER MASTER SYSTEM was launched.

2003 - In line with commitment to quality management system and total customer satisfaction, the 

            company was awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification.

2005 - Mercury training centre was set-up for conducting training courses to enhance customer’s 

            product knowledge on usage and applications techniques on Mercury and CARMIX products.

The distribution of goods is from dealers to nationwide end users inclusive of Sabah & Sarawak.

For our export market, we work with appointed resellers who in turn has their own network of dealers and distributors.
Our existing export destination includes:
I)    Asia                            – Indonesia, Singapore, China, Thailand and etc.
II )  Middle East Country   – Dubai UAE, Kuwait and etc.
III ) Others                        – Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and etc.
